Quarantine time will drop to 10 days for travelers without test results
Trans-Pacific passengers arriving in Hawai‘i without a negative COVID-19 result will soon face a shortened 10-day quarantine period, instead of the current 14 days. Gov. David Ige is expected to sign his latest COVID-19 emergency proclamation next week with the new quarantine rule, though it is unclear when the change will go into effect. The new rule reflects guidance from the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
