This is the tax you pay when you are the seller and depend on the buyer's usage of the home as the primary residence or 2ndary your rate will be different.

So it is not unusual that when one sells a home for 1 million dollar the conveyance tax is only 3000 USD. You may not believe it but it is not that bad as you think.
